The therapeutic material is made from an extremely fine, stainless steel mesh which reflects the natural magnetic field created inside the body. This stimulates blood circulation and oxygen flow in the horse’s body and back, which heals and reduces both swelling and inflammation, promoting faster healing. It can be left on your horse for 24 hours, seven days a week if necessary as it is NOT a magnetic rug, but it is advised to slowly increase and monitor the use of this or any therapy rug when first used.
This therapy is ideal for helping horses with back problems or those horses who are a little slow to warm up before riding. It also has been known to accelerate and compliment the recovery process of some aliments, in a natural environment. The therapeutic properties cannot be washed out.
The Bucas Therapy Cooler is designed to be used as a multi-purpose rug, suitable for travel, cooling down after exercise or as a stable rug. The cooler has the therapy fabric covering the back of the horse and Stay-dry fleece lower. This means the rug can be used on a sweaty or wet horse as the Stay-dry qualities will dry the horse, while enjoying the soothing relief of the therapeutic fabric. The Bucas Therapy Cooler is not only therapeutic for your horse, but also practical for you with its easy-to-use magnetic Snap-lock front closure and attachment points for use under Bucas rugs. Bucas Therapy Mesh Cooler rug is ideal for use during the warmer months of spring/summer/autumn. It comes with the same benefits as the other Bucas Therapy products but with a lightweight mesh lower to help circulate the air around the horse’s body during hot/humid days.

Bucas Therapy Cooler Neck and Mesh Neck are also available to complete the full body effect of the Therapy. The therapeutic material covers the mane and crest area of the horse, helping to increase the circulation to these areas. Silk-feel lining against the mane prevents rubs.
